Institute for a Democratic Future

The Institute for a Democratic Future (IDF) is a six month program for young adults, ages 21-36, who want to learn more about politics, government, public policy and issues in Washington state.  We strive for a diverse class of various backgrounds from across Washington state and select our class based on not only what they will learn from the program but also what they will offer other students in the program.  This program is not for the wallflower - to the contrary, IDF is helping to build the next generation of leaders in Washington state.

The Class of 2010 has been officially selected!  We are very excited about this year's class.  They come from all across the state, have diverse backgrounds and interests and have already been making waves in their communities.  We can't wait to get started.  Our first weekend is our kickoff weekend, starting with a mixer on Friday, January 8th.  Alumni and other interested parties welcome!  If you'd like to RSVP for the kickoff weekend please contact Jason Bennett, here.
