Courtney Bell was born and raised in Arlington and attended the University of Washington where she earned a BA in Psychology and minor in Women Studies. While an undergraduate, she became heavily involved with UW Young Democrats, UW Vox, and UW Students for Choice. After receiving her MA in Policy Studies at the University of Washington (Bothell), Courtney became the Snohomish & Island County field organizer for Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest. In 2008, her team worked hard in East King County campaigning for Burner, Gregoire and Obama. Most recently, Courtney worked half-time as one of two community organizers in Snohomish County for the successful No on I-1033 campaign. Courtney volunteers with the Snohomish County Young Democrats and currently resides in a part of Marysville that is peculiarly considered the 10th Legislative District.
