The Institute for a Democratic Future (IDF) is a six month program for young adults, ages 21-36, who want to learn more about politics, government, public policy and issues in Washington state. We strive for a diverse class of various backgrounds from across Washington state and select our class based on not only what they will learn from the program but also what they will offer other students in the program.
